We want our Church culture to be uncluttered and uncomplicated so that we have space in our lives to welcome and make room for new people. We want to ensure that we have quality time to listen to God and be with other people. That’s why we ask the people who are Townsville Baptist Church to be, whenever possible, committed to ‘1—1—1’. We believe these three, simple commitments will help people have a healthy and effective Christian life.

Commitment to Serving. ‘Serving’ is simply serving people in the way that God has designed for you. You may serve for up to an hour a week or maybe more. It all depends on your circumstances and what God wants you to do. We believe that God asks and equips each of us to be intentionally, sacrificially and effectively involved in helping other people.
